Casino Holiday Destinations: Our Top 10 2013

It's that time of year again, when everyone does their "Top 10" lists. Well, we are out of the blocks early. Here's our 2013 Top 10 Best Casino Holiday Destinations For You!

1. Las Vegas, Nevada, US
Well, it's got Macau snapping at it's heels, but for gambling and all round entertainment, you can't beat Las Vegas. It's still the king of the strips in more ways than one. Where else can you see Paris, Venice, the Spynx and New York all in a day and then head out to the new Cirque du Soleil show?

2. Macau
Catching up fast is Macau, the former Portuguese territory. it's bigger than Vegas, baby. Plus Hong Kong is right next door when you have lost your shirt (or made your fortune) at the tables.

3 Aruba, Caribbean Aruba.
Sun, Sand, Sea and......Slots. Try the Allegro Aruba Beach, Aruba Concorde and the huge 8,000-square-foot Alhambra Bazaar. Great for families.

4. Monte-Carlo, Monaco
Where the classy people go. Check out the 1863 Monte Carlo Casino. This place is steeped in history. A roulette and baccarat player's paradise.

5. Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
One of the big success stories of recent years, the Marina Bay Sands is a must for their roof-top swimming pool alone! You can always try and get a room during the Grand Prix if you're feeling flush. And when you get bored of the tables, you can explore Singapore or head to the jungles of Borneo in Malaysia. A great combo.

6. Puerto Rico, Caribbean
A friendly atmosphere and some great venues, this is about as warm a destination as you are going to find on this list. Try the old San Juan, the Dorado or the Mayaguez.

7 Bahamas, Caribbean
Grand Bahama is the place to head for players. Check out Paradise Island, next  to Nassau, with its stunning Atlantis Resort, : a 7-acre lagoon, towers, glass sculptures and great gaming. Sounds quite James Bond doesn't it? Yep- it is.

8 St Maarten-St Martin, Caribbean
Another fabulous Carribean island to head for- what more could you want on holiday? Try the underwater-themed Atlantis (see 6 above for another watery option!) or the Roman Coliseum. Family friendly.

9 Curacao, Caribbean
I know we are weighting towards the Carribean, but it's that time of year isn't it? It's cold in the north! A combo of slots, roulette, blackjack, beaches, diving, swimming with dolphins, golf and exploring the cute backstreets of Chrisoffelpark and Willemstad.

10 Biloxi, Mississippi, United States
Riverbelle gaming at it's best.  Head to the incredible 72,000-square-foot Beau Rivage for slots, tables and Southern Hospitality. You can also try your hand betting on the horses at Harrah's Louisiana Downs.
